The Test of English as a Foreign Language, TOEFL, sets global standards for English-language assessment in academic environments. The TOEFL Junior is the appropriate tool to assess the English-language proficiency of middle school students, including their learning progress during a language class. The TOEFL Junior is a general English-proficiency assessment that is not limited to any specific curriculum and provides schools, teachers, parents and students with an objective evaluation of a student's English-language progress.
