About course
telc Deutsch B2 or the Zertifikat Deutsch B2 is an exam for those of you who have general knowledge of German on an advanced level and who have to show a sufficient understanding of German for university or a job.
There are two parts to the exam
The written part
- lasting 2 hours and 20 minutes (assesses your listening and reading comprehension and your writing)
- Reading - 90 min
- Listening Comprehension - 20 min
- Writing - 30 min
The oral exam
Focusses on your speaking and can take place either on the same day as the written exam or on another day). For this part of the exam, you have 20 minutes to prepare.

Content
With the language exam telc Deutsch B2 you can
- understand the main content of complex texts as well as abstract topics
- understand complex connections in your personal area of expertise
- negotiate and debate convincingly
- take up a position on a current topic
