The course will start on 7th February and it is open to anyone who is interested in learning the specific vocabulary linked to the economic field, as well as the right expressions to use in the workplace.
Prerequisite: you should have at least an advanced level of English. If you are not sure about your English level, we will send you a test to check your level.
Sie lernen
The language focus includes:
- Vocabulary covering areas such as logistics, marketing, acronyms & affixes, investment jargon, collocations, expressions & metaphors of the business world.
- Grammar needed to use tentative and speculative language, express stance and add emphasis to sentences. It also encompasses a tense review, future forms, subordinating/coordinating conjunctions, phrasal/prepositional verbs.
Inhalt
Lessons will focus around a range of different business topics and then proceed to improve both the skills needed in a business environment as well as the language needed to put them into practice. A set of case studies will also be analyzed, conversation and speaking practice. Topics: developing a career, corporate life, outsourcing, investment banks and free trade.
